✝️ ETERNITY, TIME, CREATION (영원, 시간, 창조) ✝️
Without understanding the concepts of God s time and man s time, that is to say, the eternity (timelessness) and time (created time), we can t understand the creation of God. I think John Calvin did explain the creation of God disregarding this point.
God s power couldn t be limited (restricted) by the time and space at the same time and go beyond (transcend) the human power as well. I think the creation was worked out with time in the beginning (bereshit/en arche).
In other words, God could create the world for even a moment (by the way of digital) while for even the six days (by the way of analogue) because He is not the relative but the Absolute. The important thing is that the time is in the eternity. Therefore, even though time can be understood by Eternity, but Eternity cannot be understood by time. Because Eternity and time must be qualitatively different each other. Problem is that some people are going to understand Eternity just as the extension(continuity) of time.
After understanding this point for the first time, we can understand the Gen. 1:1 (bereshit, in the beginning), and so the difference between Gen. 1:3-4 (the creation of light, the evening & morning) and Gen. 1:14-19 (the lights of the fourth day/yom, the evening & morning).
Looking deeper into the Bible, we can see that the things of the heaven have been reflected into the World by the revelation of God. The happenings, therefore, cannot be helped explaining by the level of man, namely the way of analogue.
Of course, I do wholly believe that the World was created through the six days (yaim), but I don t believe that the power of God s creation should be restricted by the time (man s time).
For example, at the Divine Council of the Triune God (the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) in the heaven Godhead had an intra-communication one another and then He (Godhead) established the concept of the Creation and worked the creation of the heaven and earth.
In this way, He also had the intra-communication on the salvation of men and worked out the plan of salvation by God the Father, accomplished the plan of salvation through the Son (Jesus Christ), and applied the salvation to men through the Holy Spirit the Comforter. This is theologically called the way of expression as economical Trinity. 💗💗💗
