설교 C학점 받은 목사 설교집 (My Sermons)-Kor/Eng
저에게는 설교가 어렵니다. 신학원에서 공부할 때 설교학에서 C 학점을 받은 적도 있습니다. ^^; 그런데 휴스턴서울교회를 담임할 때, 주일 설교 정기 구독자가 많았습니다. 구독자 다수가 가정교회 목사님이셨습니다.
구독 이유로 다음 두 가지를 꼽았습니다. (1) 최 목사의 모든 설교에는 가정교회 정신이 배어있어서, 반복해서 들을 때 가정교회 정신이 체득된다. (2) 최 목사 설교를 통해서 VIP(비신자) 귀에 들리는 설교를 어떻게 하는지 배울 수 있다.
설교 테이프는 더 이상 구독할 수 없지만, 설교집은 구입할 수 있습니다. 제 설교집이 두 개 있습니다.
하나는 “교회는 병원이다(요단 출판사)”입니다. 제가 휴스턴 서울교회에 부임하여 설교한 첫 1년 치를 모은 것인데, 가정교회 출범 직전과 직후에 한 설교라, 가정교회를 준비하거나 갖 출범시키신 목사님들에게 도움이 될 것입니다.
또 하나는 “답은 고린도에 있다(요단 출판사)” 입니다. 고린도전서와 후서를 한 주에 한 장씩 설교한 것을 모은 것입니다. 리더십, 교회 분쟁, 은사, 결혼, 이혼 등 고린도 교회의 문제는 오늘날 우리가 당면하는 문제와 아주 유사합니다. 이런 문제로 고민하는 분들에게 도움이 될 것입니다.
인터넷에서 제 설교 동영상을 불 수 없는 것을 안타까워하는 분들을 위해 알려드렸습니다.^^;
(왜 인터넷에 제 설교 동영상을 안 올리는지는 다음에 기회가 생기면 말씀드리겠습니다. ^^;)

Quite a few people subscribed to my sermon tapes when I was pastoring at Seoul Baptist Church. I found it somewhat puzzling because I considered myself just an ordinary preacher. I actually got a C in my preaching class in seminary.
Many subscribers were House Church pastors. They said my passion and conviction for the House Church were deeply ingrained in my messages, so my sermons helped them to understand the House Church more clearly.
They also shared that I demonstrated how to preach to non-believers. While I was pastoring, a weekly average of 2-3 people received Christ and were baptized. Some pastors felt like my sermons played an important role in people accepting Jesus as their Savior and Lord, so they wanted to learn how to do similarly.
My sermon tapes are no longer available, but some of them were made into books.
One is entitled, “The Church is a Hospital.” It is a collection of sermons I preached soon after coming to Seoul Baptist. This sermon collection may be helpful to those who are planning to implement the House Church because these are the sermons I preached to prepare my own church for implementation.
The other is “The Answers Are Found in Corinth”, which is a collection of sermons on First and Second Corinthians The Corinthians churches had many problems surprisingly similar to those we have today. This book may be helpful to those who are struggling with many contemporary issues such as the order of worship, speaking in tongues, spiritual gifts, marriage in the end times, divorce, etc.
