Pastor Chang Ho Kim graduated from Pyong Yang Seminary in
1914, and W. C. Kerr was the missionary under the Hwang Hae
Presbytery, a member of the First General Assembly (the
Inaugural Assembly) of the General Assembly Presbyterian
Church in Korea which had been opened at 10:30 am on
September first, 1912.
If the missionaries delegated before 1911 were the typical
Conservative as Dr. A. J. Brown’s comment, there would be, in
no doubt, the missionaries as W. C. Kerr influenced from the
Liberalism among the missionaries after1912.
Consequently, it must be commented that Liberalism polluted
the missionaries going back to 1912 and that there was an
outbreak of such a theological patient as Pastor Chang Ho
Kim, and so Korean Church has already been ill locally with the
theological symptom of Liberalistic disease.

김장호 목사는 1914년 평양신학교 출신이고, 공위량은 주후
1912년 9월 1일 오전 10시 30분에 개회된 예수교 장로회 조선
총회 제1회 총회(창립총회)에 참석한 회원으로 황해노회에 소
속된 선교사로 기록되어 있다.
만일 1911년 전에 파견된 선교사들이 에이 제이 브라운 박사의
말대로 전형적인 보수주의였다면, 1912년 후 선교사들 가운데
자유주의로부터 영향을 받은 W. C. 공위량 선교사와 같은 선교
사들이 있었음은 의심할 여지가 없다.
결론적으로, 자유주의는 벌써 1912년까지 소급되어 선교사들
에 의하여 오염되어서 이미 1917년 김장호 목사와 같은 환자가
발병되어 국부적으로 앓고 있었다고 보아야 할 것이다. ⛪️⛪️⛪️
