Although the background of these various thoughts did not
have an important effect upon Dr. Kim, Jae Joon, he was not
have lonely person because there had some people who were
supporting his thought, The waves of the New theology had
been already forming a currency of the theological thought in
the 1932’s when Rev. Chae, Phil Keun published ‘Dialectic
Theology’ four times serially in the Christian times.‘
On the contrary Dr. Park, Hyung Yong believed that the theology
of Korean Church is not the original work of theology in her own
way but the theology bearing the Apostolic faith just as it is and
the theology accepting the theology of verbal inspiration of the
Bible. He condemned the higher criticism of the Bible. And then
he attacked Dr. Kim, Jae Joon in front not to publish his work
any more in the Presbyterian Theological Review (Shin Hak Ji
Nam) since May 1935.
Dr. Park reputed not only the liberalism of 19th century but also
Barthianism the Neo-Orthodoxy not to do with the Orthodoxy
having been bearing the Apostles in the early Christianity. Such
theological confrontation between liberalism and conservatism
at that time was the confrontation between the conservatives
and the new theologians under the influence of the liberal
theology thought beyond the dimension of personal, partial
confrontation. It has cracked the domain of the theology of
Korean church.

이러한 잡다한 사상들의 배경이 김재준 교수에게 큰 영향을 주지
는 못하였다 하더라도 그는 외로운 존재만은 아니었다. 신 신학의
물결은 채필근 목사가 기독신보에 “변증론적 신학”을 4회에 걸쳐
연재하던 1932년에 벌써 하나의 조류를 이루고 있었던 것이다.
이에 반하여 박형룡 박사는 한국교회 신학이란 우리 나름대로의
신학의 “창작”이 아니라 사도적 전통의 바른 신앙을 그대로 보수
하는 신학이라고 믿고 성경의 무오설과 축자영감설에 튼튼히 서
서 성서에 대한 비판적 해석을 단죄하고 1935년 5월 이후로는 김
재준 목사의 글을 신학지남에 더 이상 게재하지 못하게 함으로써
정면으로 대결하게 되었었다.
박 박사는 19세기의 자유주의뿐만 아니라 신정통주의인 바르트
주의도 역시 정통주의 신학과 상관이 없는 자유주의라고 논파하
였다. 이러한 보수와 자유의 신학사상의 대립은 당시만 하더라도
개인적 국부적 대립의 차원을 훨씬 넘어 일본 유학을 통해 자유
주의 신학에 물든 적지 않은 신 신학자들과 보수주의 신학자들
간의 대립으로 한국의 신학판도에 금이 가게 했던 것이었다. ⛪️
