II. Theological Background of Church Division
(3) The Church Unification Movement
But this view is, I think, a misunderstanding that they has
identified theology with the other learning. In short, general
learning has the sources from nature, human, the more
existential human reason but theological truth has the source
from the infallible Bible. Therefore theological truth must have
the absolute truth in principle.
And liberalists has another misunderstanding. That is; they
have regarded theology as the only cultural expression to
faith. But they do not have understood that theology must be
the spiritual expression to faith. They have thought theology
to be an instruments, namely language, nation, country, and
age, which express the culture.
But they do not know theology must be the expression(means
life) to faith. As Bible says, the Lord says: “these people come
near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but
their hearts are far from me is made up only of rules ttaught
by men.” The formula that faith is conservative and theology is
liberal is an antinomic truth.

그러나 이러한 견해는 신학을 하나의 일반학문의 분야와 동질
시 하는 데서 오는 착각이 아닌가 생각한다. 간단히 설명하자면,
이반 학문은 그 소스가 자연, 인간, 좀 더 깊은 의미로는 실존적
인간의 이성에서 인출되지만, 참된 신학이라면 그 소스가 하나
님, 더 구체적으로 말하면 정확무오한 진리인 성경에서 인출되
기 때문에, 그 근본 원리는 절대 적인 것이다.
그리고 자유주의자들이 또 한 가지 오해하는 것이 있다. 신학을
하나의 신앙에 대한 문화적 표현으로 보는 것이다. 그러나 그들
은 신학은 신앙에 대한 정신적, 사상적 표현이라는 점을 전혀 망
각하고 있는 것이 아닌가? 그들은 신학을 신앙의 글자만을 묘사
하는 언어, 민족, 지방, 시대 등 하나의 도루(문화)로만 생각한다.
그러나 그들은 신학이 신앙에 대한 정신(생명)적 표현임을 모르
는 것이다. 성경은 말하기를, “주께서 이르시되 이 백성이 입으
로는 나를 가까이하며 입술로는 나를 공경하나 그들의 마음은
내게서 멀리 떠났나니 그들이 나를 경외함은 사람의 계명으로
가르침을 받았을 뿐이라”(사 29:13)라고 했다. 신앙은 보수이고
신학은 자유라는 공식은 전혀 이율배반적인 비진리이다. ⛪⛪⛪
