TIME MANAGEMENT (27) (Overview: Seeking First the Future of God) (02)
ÀåºÎ¿µ  2009-08-28 13:07:28, Á¶È¸ : 2,016

(2) What Must We Do?

(1) A value system is useless unless it is \\\"worked out within the culture and humdrum of everyday life.\\\" So where do we start? Jesus answered: \\\"Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well\\\" (Mt. 6:33).

1) Setting Apart Specific Time: it implies setting apart a specific time in order to get to know him. We as Christians will include in our day and week and year times to read the Bible, pray and worship, both individually and corporately.

2) Serving Christ, Ministering to people: we will seek to serve Christ, obeying his commands and ministering to people. As we have opportunity(kairos) let us do good to all people. (Gal 28:19).

3) Evangelism and Making Disciples: we are to be constantly involved in some form evangelism, what Jesus called \\\"making disciples\\\" (Mt 28:19). \\\"Wherever you go, make disciples\\\" or \\\"While you are going, make disciples.\\\"

(2) At this point we must stop to ask ourselves: does the use of our time reflect our priorities? Do our priorities reflect the concern of Jesus for his church and the world?

(3) If you wish to try the method, you need to carry with you a small notebook, previously marked off in reasonable intervals.
